Questions 4.a., 4.c., and 4.e. on page 133 of the textbook

  1. In each case, the possible integral zeros are the factors of the polynomial’s constant term.
    1. The constant term is −8; therefore, the possible integral zeros are as follows:

      ±1, ±2, ±4, ±8

    1. The constant term is 24; therefore, the possible integral zeros are as follows:

      ±1, ±2, ±3, ±4, ±6, ±8, ±12, ±24
    1. The constant term is –15; therefore, the possible integral zeros are as follows:

      ±1, ±3, ±5, ±15
