   1. There are two factors containing x; therefore, the expanded form of the polynomial is of degree 2. The degree of the polynomial is even and the polynomial has a positive leading coefficient. The graph will start in quadrant 2 and end in quadrant 1. Substituting zero for x gives the y-intercept(0, −18).
