Dr. Ferguson talks about "observing your thoughts, like passing clouds or leaves floating by”. He suggests we give attention only to those thoughts that are positive and grounding. In some of the earlier modules we talked about mindful practices and being present. Quietly observing, not judging our thoughts, is another example of a mindful practice.
