Module 1: I Love My Job
Introduction
Welcome everyone to the first week of the Healthy Healers course!
The Orientation provided an overview of course content, purpose, and expectations of the course. We focused on getting to know each other and ensuring we can communicate with each other as learning partners, on the discussion board, and with the facilitators. Through our “tech-checks” you learned how to use the course technology.
You filled out your Wellness Wheel to identify the ways you are currently taking care of yourself so you can be a healthy healer. The Wellness Wheel provides you with the invitation to look at your self-care strategies and consider trying new ones to help you gain greater balance and happiness in your work. Additionally you did the True Colors Personality Quiz to give you some insight to your personality type.
This week we will explore what you like about your job. We open each class with a few words from an Elder.
