Introduction
More than half of the Alaska Native population in lives in small communities with limited access to health services. ANTHC takes pride in prioritizing the health of Alaska Native people throughout the state, particularly those in rural and remote locations.
Under the direction of the Tribal Health Directors, ANTHC used the Community Health Aide Program as a model to train and deploy a workforce of Behavioral Health Aides.
